Being one of the veterans in the OPM rock scene, The Dawn continues to make good music and serves as an inspiration to other bands.The band was formed in the 1980's by the late legendary Pinoy guitarist, Teddy Diaz, which still serves as the band's driving force. Their song "Salamat" is considered to be one of the most famous song that was aired in Philippine airwaves.
