Allan was the son of Hugh McCoan and was my great great great great great grandfather.
Allan was born in 1741 in Kilninver, Argyll, Scotland.
On the 4 September 1766, Allan married Catherine McCorquodale in Kilninver.
Allan died in 1822 in Kilninver.
