As an actor and performer, Mark Strange has a diverse range of skills to offer. He has a formidable presence and an endearing personality, shaped by years of martial arts teaching and tournament performances. Mark has proven to be a flamboyant mover on screen and is comfortable in a variety of roles.

Mark’s skills in Kung Fu and gymnastics provide highly visual entertainment. Those who have witnessed his ability have been amazed by his action performances. In the sci-fi thriller `Displaced’ (Skylandian Pictures film due for release 2002), Mark plays an alien on the run, performing stunts and fight scenes without the use of special effects or wires.

In the comedy series `Roddy Smythe Investigates’ (Northern Misfits 2001), Mark gets to use his martial arts skills while taking on a co-starring character role along side actors Peter Slater, Peter Kay and Kiki Kendrick. Mark plays a moody film crew member investigating paranormal occurrences and uses his skills to defend his fellow associates in this cult series by Mark Howard.

With over 18 years experience as a full time martial arts instructor and practitioner, Mark Strange is able to provide excellent martial arts choreography and fight arrangement services for film and television. Mark is also able to train actors and other cast members privately or on location and can provide a team of trained fight extras.

Mark has provided fight choreography in `Displaced’ and `Insidious’ (Skylandian Pictures), `Roddy Smythe’ (Northern Misfits) and also for the 2000 Kino Film Festival Trailer. He has also successfully trained other performers who have gone on to use their skills in a variety of film and television productions.

Mark has worked in film production over the last few years, gaining experience in all areas of filming from development to post-production.

Mark was Producer for the film `Displaced’ (Skylandian Pictures), managing to source extensive cast, crew and props for this high quality, low budget film.

To further his experience, Mark is set to co-produce a comedy sketch show titled `Writers Block’ in 2002.
