Buffy The Lost Slayer Series by Christopher Golden
Four in a series, contains: Book 1: Prophecies, Book 2: Dark Times, Book 3: King of the Dead, Book 4: Original Sins.  You have to be careful when reading this series, because the notes and images on the later books somewhat spoil you for what to come, so buy all four, and then hide each one 'til you've read the previous, unless of course you liked to be spoiled.  This, by far is THE BEST Buffy novel series I have READ!  It takes place in a Season 4 alternate universe.  Buffy is struggling to be the perfect student, the perfect Slayer, but she can't handle it all.  Something's gotta give.  A single moment of bad judgement catapults Buffy into an alternate future dimension where vampires reign supreme.  Imprisoned in the body of her 24 year old self, Buffy has to figure out the moment that went wrong, in order to set things right.    All of your favorite characters get to "play" in this series.  Not to be missed!

The Gatekeeper Trilogy by Christopher Golden & Nancy Holder
A series of 3 novels.  Book 1: Out of the Madhouse, Book 2: Ghost Roads, Book 3: Sons of Entropy.   Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder introduce some fascinating concepts and characters that come to play in their other Buffy novels.  For that alone, worth a read, but the story is engaging and edge of your seat.  The Scoobs get out of Sunnydale and travel to Boston and other "interesting" places in order to maintain chaos.  Normally, this is the job of the "Gatekeeper", but things have gone very wrong at the gatehouse, and only the Slayer and her friends can figure out a solution.  Season 3ish universe.

Paleo by Yvonne Navarro
This one's fun and Oz has a starring role in it.  As noted by the title, we're talking dinosaurs.
This is season 2-3 era story and much of the action takes place at the Sunnydale Museum of
Natural History.  An ambitious student who likes to "dabble" in ancient history unleashes a Jurassic-sized problem on Sunnydale.  Yvonne Navarro has a real knack for writing Oz-like
dialogue.  A good read.
