This is the final sketch for my portfolio. Truthfully, I think I was most fond of my second rendering, which i have not posted up here. Medea is a fiery, strong willed woman (and sorceress) who marries Jason and has his children, then later he goes off to marry a princess to better his political standing. Medea is furious and hurt. She gets revenge by killing the princess and her father, and killing her own children. She is a foreigner who is not from Greece, so I gave her a deliberately foreign look with her dark complexion and style of dress. I put her in red to make her stand out and amplify her fiery nature.
