Marie Sagar Williams was born in 1900 in Great Harwood, Lancashire, England to Cecily Emma Mercer and Mr. Sagar. She had two brothers, Albert Mercer Sagar (with her in pic) and Harold Sagar Williams (both Marie and Harold took their step-father's name while Albert, who was older, kept Sagar.) Marie moved from England to Los Angeles, CA in 1937 to live near her brother Harold who had moved there years earlier. She never married. Marie died in 1950 of a perforated ulcer.
