The Water Buffalo is one of the Big 5. However, South Africa does not have water buffalo; instead we have the Cape Buffalo pictured here. We count it as one of the Big 5. They are usually found in large herds and they are dangerous if they happen to decide to stampede. They are a very large animal as you can see. |
