Drusilla was born in the 19th century, in London, England. She had two sisters and lived with her parents in a good family. She was given the power to see the future thorugh visions. These visions scared her and her family and her mother told her that it was a curse, not a gift. Through these visions she came to know of the vampire Darla. Darla pointed her out to her lover, Angelus. He then became obsessed with her. He tormented her by killing off all of her family, mentally torturing her, and he hunted her to the convent where she tried to hide from Angelus, her visions, from everything, devoting her life to God.
This left her on the edge of insanity and on the day she was to take her Holy Orders, Angelus appeared. He slaughtered the nuns, making Drusilla totally insane. Angelus then turned her into a vampire and she joined him and Darla. |

As she travelled with Darla and Angelus, she came across a young man named William, whom she met in an alley in 1880. Drusilla took a particulair liking to him and turned him into a vampire. He became known as William the Bloody for his "bloody awful poetry" and also Spike for being known to torture his victims with railroad spikes. He joined Drusilla, Angelus, and Darla in their wreaking havoc on the world.
In 1898, Angelus fed on a beloved Gypsy daughter and this cost him his vampiric ways and his soul was restored. Drusilla, Darla, and Spike then went to Romania to take revenge on the Gypsies. They did not succeed in getting the curse revoked. They were then involved in the Boxer Rebellion, in which Spike killed his first slayer. He gave Drusilla a taste of the Slayer's blood and they made love by the Slayer's dead body.
Spike and Drusilla traveled throughout Europe. When they were in Prague, Drusilla was attacked by an angry mob and nearly killed. Spike brought her back to Sunnydale to nurse her back to health.... |
