Conclusion

Despite all the cons of this DC. I still can't thinking one that's better suit me, cause I need a good solid DC with small size and can produce good quality pictures in most situation. I think my Fuji 4700z did a pretty decent job for capturing what I want so far. I am learning how to live with its short comings and make the most of it's pros

I think if I am given the same options as the day I've decided to buy this DC. I will certainly buy the Fuji 4700z all over again.

But personally, I have doubts about the Super CCD. Even though it can double the size of the resulting pictures. But the quality of the 4.3 Mega Pixel picture produced by Super CCD is certainly not as good as the ones produced by a 3.3 Mega Pixel CCD. To me, the best picture can be produced reducing the 4.3 Mega Pixel picture in half and becomes a 2.4 Mega Pixel picture again. This will effect eliminate a lot of the noise in the picture and the picture will still have excellent detail in it.

Let's bring us back to-date. Of course there are better choices out there today (Canon G1, Pro90i, E-10; Olympus E100RS, 2500L, 3040z; Nikon Coolpix 880; Fuji 4900z, etc), I think the Fuji 4700 and it's future models are certainly a competitive model in the market.
