| Lunch- Our lunchtime is 12:55-1:20. The cost is $1.75 per day or $8.75 for the week. The cafeteria has asked that you pay this on Monday. Checks can be made payable to South Cafeteria. Lunch boxes are welcome and milk can be purchased for $.45. Please send money in the zip-lock bag we have provided. Also, please enclose a note and give us a breakdown of how the money is to be used. For example, Lunch 3 days M, Tu, Fri $5.25 Wed, Th bring lunch Snack $2.00 If you would like to join us for lunch, please do! We ask that you refrain from visiting during the first month of school. This allows more transition time and less tears when parents leave. |

| Media Center - We will visit the Media Center every week. Our kindergarten students will also be checking out books this year. Our class will check out and return books on Mondays. Medicine - If your child needs to take medication of any kind during the school day, a signed permission form needs to be obtained from the doctor. All medication is administered in the office. If your child has allergies or any other medical conditions, please let us know. Music � Our class will go to Music with Mrs. Campbell on Thursdays. |

| Newsletter- We will send home a weekly newsletter to keep you informed of the happenings in our classroom and our school. This is a great way to stay abreast of our curriculum, classroom news, special activities and upcoming events. |

| Oops!- Please send a change of clothing for your child in a labeled, resealable plastic bag. We will keep this change of clothing in your child�s backpack in case of an accident. Remember to change the extras seasonally. Outside Time- The children will be going outside for 20-30 minutes of recess every day, weather permitting. Please keep this in mind when helping your child to select clothing for the day. |

| Parties and Celebrations - We will have class parties from time to time for occasions such as Halloween, December holidays, and Valentine�s Day. PE - We will have PE with Mr. Mackey on Tuesdays. The children are asked to wear tennis shoes and appropriate clothing. |

| Quiet Time- In the beginning of the school year, the children will rest briefly each day. They are expected to sit quietly, but are not expected to sleep. |
