For me living in New Zealand means a great lifestyle with beautiful weather, scenery and, of course, people! |

New Zealand's history has been brief yet passionate. In 1840 a treaty was signed between the iwi (or tribes) of Maori (the native peoples) and the British Crown. From that time there have been conflicts between the races that are now in the process of being settled. for me both cultures make up New Zealand and its important for all to know both Maori and those or european descent in order to see the real New Zealand and not a tourism facade. |
