| Directors | Budgets: So how much does a director get per video? Well it depends. The bands label will give the production company a certain amount of money. This can get well over a million. The director automatically gets 10% of this. For example the George Michael Video for Freek costed $3 Million so the director would have earnt roughly $300,000. Although dont expect to earn this amount! You have to start off on no budgets and gradually work your way up. Alot of directors will never get a video budget over 250,000.
