Michael and Janet Jacksons "Scream" was directed by Mark Romanek. Scream is still the most expensive music video ever made at 7 million. It contains special effects, beautiful sets and expensive scenes.Every shot just looks like a beatiful photo. The video is taken place in a space ship or vacuum that represents their lives. Sometimes they are looked upon as not human. Janets always looking soft, golden and sexy in the video. She wanted to look raw although they had to add a futuristic aspect to it. To combine both dancing styles of Michael and Janet they used 4 choreographers. Scream was shot in Universal Studios with a total of 10 sets and 5 sound stages. The pre-production started in April and finished at the end of May. The production took 9 late nights and early mornings of shooting. Overall the amazing scenes of scream make it one the best videos of all time. |
