Having not been seen in Whedon's universe since the end of Buffy's second season, Juliet Landau makes her return as the popular Drusilla in this episode, albeit in flashbacks. She's been absent for over two seasons.

CONTINUITY

Wesley insists that vampires to not return from the dead, even though Angel himself mentions that he did in Buffy's third season. This was shown in Faith, Hope and Trick.
Angel said he used to have a thing for convents. He tormented Drusilla in one in flashback in Becoming (Part 1).
Cordelia mistakenly believes that Angel has seen Buffy, reflecting Buffy's last visit in Sanctuary.
Again, it's references that Darla was killed four years ago by Angel in Angel.
Darla mentions that Angel cut of Lindsey's hand, which he did in To Shanshu in LA. She also mentions that learning of Angel's soul 'sickened' her, which we saw in flashback in Five by Five. Angel becomes aware that Darla was brought back in the box in the first season finale.
Darla refers to 'that cheerleader,' a clear reference to Buffy.

GOOFS

Why doesn't Kate know about Darla? She did extensive research on Angelus in Somnambulist.
Darla gives her address as 1409 Galloway in Studio City. Galloway is in Pacific Palisades. Also, across the street from her address you can see a house with the number 729.
Right before Angel says that Wesley slept with a bleached blonde, Wes finishes loosening his tie. Then he pats Angel on the back and in the next shot he's loosening his tie again.
