.Hack//Sign is about Tsukasa, who woke up in The World and was unable to log out. He doesn't remember what happened before he woke up so he goes to search for answers. But because he was seen with a mysterious character, the Crimson Knights are after him. Through his adventures to try to find out who he is and how come he can hear, touch, feel, and smell everything as if he is really alive in the game, he meets Mimiru, Bear, B.T., Crim, and Subaru. These new friends would try to help Tsukasa log out...maybe by using the Key of the Twilight.
