Racom® systems in the Quad-Cities
Racom supplies EDACS based wide-area trunked radio service in Iowa and surrounding states. The tower sites are linked to together, so with an "follow-me" option, a talkgroup can follow from site to site around the region as a user moves. Racom has at least four sites in the Quad-Cities area. Notice Systems 5 & 14 have switched locations.

When you are programming the Uniden BC-245XLT. You must have the channels in red as blanks or the scanner will not track properly. But you may have more than one system in a bank if they do not have conflicting LCN assignments. Example Systems 5/14, 10/14 or 8/14 can share a bank (just make sure you lockout two of the three so they don'r interfere with each other.
