Nancy and Frankie were spayed/neutered on June 29, 2001.
It was a challenge to keep both of them from chewing on
their stitches! Nancy had ripped out TWO of her six stitches and
had them kept in an extra few days! I am glad that is over!!
Here are some pictures of their
"sick days"
Here are the puppies on the first day postop,
they were feeling lousy and didn't want to eat,
but they did want to be together.
Frankie would NOT leave his stitches alone,
he wore an infant's onsey for a while,
then was OK by the third day.
Here is Nancy in her shirt, she started chewing
on her stitches on the fourth day and managed to
chew up TWO out of the six stitches.
She was quite miserable for the whole week.
Here was Nancy, finally feeling better. It was the
first time I saw her "climb" for food!
Watching for burglars!
