SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The program will consist on:

1. Invited plenary lectures (30 minutes each plus 5 minutes of discussion) . Invited lecturers will review recent work and progress in the subject. However, some of them will be tutorial in nature;

2. Selected oral presentations (15 minutes each plus 5 minutes of discussion);

3. Contributions in poster sessions;
 
4. A plenary round table.

GENERAL INFO FOR PARTICIPANTS

Audio-visual equipment. The plenary room will be equipped with both, a digital projection equipment and an overhead projector. A PC will be also available (i.e. not MAC). Speaker should come prepared with their presentations in Microsoft Power Point format.

Posters must present well-prepared visual material on a 1x1.2 m2 poster board.

The official Workshop language is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

The exact days and hours of the scientific and social activities appear in the tentative Workshop timetable.

SOCIAL PROGRAM (tentative)

We hope you will also enjoy the program of social activities.

SUNDAY, 6:30 p.m. Welcome reception in the painting gallery Carmen Montilla. Animated by live cuban typical music.

MONDAY, 9:00 a.m. The opening ceremony will be followed by a musical presentation and a short visit to the monastery of San Francisco de Asis.

TUESDAY, 6:00 p.m. Cultural presentation.

WEDNESDAY, 2:00 p.m. Tour to Old Havana and visit to the cuban painting galleries of the Fine Arts Museum.

WEDNESDAY, 8:30 p.m. Closing party (optional). The reservation and payment of the closing party will be done at the registration desk of the Workshop.
