Don Shorock's Winfield Memory of 27 September 1999

The theme for 1999 was “to pass the music on.”
John McCutcheon often invites young audience members to join the show.

Ann (age 13) has been going to Winfield for 13 years, and Leah (age 11) has been going for six years. This was Ann's fifth or sixth time singing on stage with John, and Leah's first. They had just finished singing "Last Kiss". On all of the previous times that Ann sang on stage with him, she sang "Kindergarten Wall". She and a few other friends used to call themselves the McCutcheonettes.
