Ann's Place
Ann's Place in Twin Peaks was marked with this sign throughout the festival.
Around noon on Saturday, September 14th, Ann Meahan was critically injured by a propane explosion in her trailer. She was taken to Via Christi Hospital in Wichita where she worked as a nurse. On September 25th, she lost her battle for life. Her spot in the Twin Peaks area (just west of River Rat) was respectfully marked during the festival. Her family has suggested donations through WV headquarters for the purchase of gas leak detectors.
