The Pass criteria asks for diagrams and simple explanations. Make sure you can show that you understand the various types of organisational structure. Make sure there are diagrams and use the notes to ensure your descriptions are clear and accurate.
Flow of information is important. You will encounter this again in assignment 6
Use diagrams to illustrate this flow. Remember that there are 120 students on this course. They have the same information as you. If you can make your diagrams different and can still show your understanding; then so much the better for you.
You will be given examples of organisations. They are not household names but they are representative organisations. Use them to compare the differences in their organisation. Consider how information flows in each organisation and demonstrate your understanding by producing a detailed explanation. This is a merit criteria element which deserves a suitable response.
