Oakland winless after 3 gms, panic time?
(6-22-09) Oakland Seals were ready to take the league by storm, finally after two close seasons, yet missed the playoffs. No one wants to say they are cursed, by Oakland is standing at 0-3, losing to two teams they had expected to win against, Los Angeles, and Washington. With rumors of Scott Stickland getting the boot, and three key players getting ready for the offseason, could this 14.0 dark-horse team be turning into the mega sale team before Week 7's deadline?
Oakland Seals 10-5 miss playoffs again
(10-28-08) For the second straight season, Oakland will miss the playoffs. The Seals improved to 10-5, their franchise best, yet with such a tough Western Conference will again miss the playoffs by a hair. Oakland won their last matchup verse Los Angeles, yet a must win wasn't all that was needed, a Phoenix loss also had to happen, which didn't. Phoenix won the division, and Oakland will need to make another effort to make their first playoffs next season. They are the only frachise to have never made the playoffs. |
