I just thought it would be nice to tell the newbies what should and shouldn�t do while playing neopets. This is just a simple guide to make you aware of some of the things that happen in neopets. Also I will provide some tips on how to play, accomplish quests and how to discover scammers. So, lets start with what you should do
1) Play games to earn some neopoints. Click here to go where I provide the answers to some of the neopets games. 2) Visit all the daily free stuff there are. Click here to go to the links 3) Open your bank account. This is important because there are ghosts that steal your money if you don� save it in the bank. Also the bank has an interest rate that will also give you money.Collect the interests daily!! 4) Open a shop. it costs only 150 nps and you can update it to put more things. Mind you�l have to pay for the update. Having a shop is a good way to start earning money but you have to make an inversion first: STOCK!! PLENTY OF STOCK ITEMS! (tip: look in the wiz several times before buying, it doesn�t give the cheapest price in the first search!) 5) Use your Safety Deposit Box to store your items. As well as money ghosts can also steal items. 6) Join an active guild. Sometimes guilds help you when you have a sick pet or when you need an item for a quest. Also there are some guids thata have newbie packs(they give you items for joining.this sometimes can help you equip your pets for the battledome) 7) You can sometimes have a go at the Money tree but have a fast connection. It is quite difficult to get a donated item or money
What?? A random event??
What are they?? well they are good and bad events that just happen. Some good events are: tooth faerie gives you money for a teeth, you find lost money, you have a new battledome challenger, etc..
There is one good event that you ust be careful and this one is the FAERIE QUEST event. this event is important because a certain type of faerie will ask you to search for her item and when this happens you cannot use the shop wiz! Ohh but don�t dispair. What you must do is copy the name of item requested and go to the BOARDS, in there you�ll find a QUEST board. There you can ask for help by creating a topic saying what you need and a good hearted person will look it up in the wiz for you and give you the name of the preson that has got the item in his/her shop. Then you have to copy the name to a blanck space you� find in your main neopets nav bar and hit Go!. then you have to look in the users look up for his/her shop and buy the item.
Now, let�s move on to the bad random events. This consist mainly in stealing nps(money) damaging your pets, or so. When the ghost stael you you won�t be able to do anything but if your neopets are damaged, I say: Visit the healing springs
