After the right team is selected, the real course work begins.
During the two week straight Detector Class, the K-9 Team will train in buildings, houses, schools, vehicles, hotels, and virtually most everything the Detector Dog Team will handle on the street. The Explosive Detector Team is a unit that needs very special training and instruction. We offer one on one training for these teams. Mistakes with this training can be costly.

The Dual Purpose Patrol and Detector team will not only work the same scenarios as the straight Detector Dog, they will also work building searches, area searches, tracking, handler protection, and control. We attempt to simulate as many real life situations as possible. Our intense four week Dual-Purpose class will show the team how to handle everything from public demonstrations to felony apprehensions.
