   Here I am signing a book in the conference room at the
  Omelette House. This was a major moment in my writing
  career because it was the first time I ever signed a book
  for someone that I didn't know.
   Here I am handing my friend Edwin his signed book.
  Edwin is writing a book too. There you go, man, there's
  your first official plug!!


    I'm reading to the crowd at the Omelette House here.
  After that, there were some questions. The reading was a
  little easier for me this time probably because I had a
  podium to hide behind.


       Here I am with a former student, Justin. Justin was my student
   aid the last year that I taught, and he was in my English class the
   second to last year that I taught.


   Here are the flyers and the balloons that the store
  put up to draw attention to my signing. Well, that
  and the fact that they were having a sale, but they
  really did put up extra balloons for me. They treated
  me very well, and two of their employees bought my book.
      Here I am at the very beginning of the signing.
   The store set up this table for me, and I sat near
   the door and said hi to people that came in.
   I had a great time.



   Here are Stacy and Adam making far too big of a
  deal about my autograph. They kept me laughing
  (and blushing) by heading into the mall and
  saying, "I can't believe Jim Kohl is actually in that
  store!" Thanks for coming, guys!!

   Here I am signing Mark's book. It was the day
  before his birthday, and he got the book as a
  gift from his girlfriend, my sister. Those are my
  parents to the left.
