Mission Statment

Notre Dame Parish is a faith filled community called to know,love, and serve God. We respond to our Baptismal call to follow Jesus Christ through celebrative prayer and worship, education and proclamation of the Good News, and service within and beyond our parish family.We are committed to recognize the giftedness of the people of God and to encourage their participation in sacramental worship, and to send them forth into the world and transform it into the Kingdom of God

Notre Dame was established  in 1960 with the first Masss held at the National Guard Armory on June 12, 1960.
The school and auditorium opened (grades 1 thru 3) Sept. 11,1961,with the first Mass in the auditorium a month later. The school was completed for grades K thru 8 in Sept,1963. Ground was broken for the New Church and
Rectory on July 1, 1973 and the first Mass was sung on September 22,1974. Msgr Robert Schriefer is the founding
Pastor; followed by Msgr. Edward Zeitler, and Msgr. John Hagerty. A new phase of school improvement is under way.
We are 1600 Families strong and growing.
