NYC TRANSIT - Main Page

Train Medley 1 Train Medley 2

This site is dedicated to Railfans with a particular interest in the New York City Transit System, and was created purely for their enjoyment. No profit will be realized from this site. The site is a Pictorial History of the New York City Transit System (1930's - 1970's).
My name is Mark M. Oring. I was born and raised in New York City and have always been fascinated by the Rapid Transit System. Old hobbies die hard. I've been in the South Florida area for the past 23 years, but the trains are still in my blood.
All photos on this site are from the personal collection of Mark M. Oring, although most were taken by other persons. Where information is known as to who the photo is accredited to, this information will be displayed with the photograph.

Don't forget to bookmark this site. Check back from time to time, as new content is always being added. The site has been redone with a new navigational system and a new guestbook.
