‘Odd Ones Out’ are a rock band based near Banbury, Oxfordshire and are mostly influenced by The Beatles, The Who, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Oasis, Graham Coxon...to name but a few.

The band are:

'Odd Ones Out' formed originally in 2004 but actually recorded for the first time as a three piece in April 2005 after their drummer left the area. They played for a period with ex-BBC session drummer Bob Critchley as a stand-in. Current drummer Joe Nicklin actually introduced himself at an 'Odd Ones Out' gig and soon after replaced Bob on drums permanently.

They have just finished their third studio recording, ‘Serge Fontaine’ (listen here) named after Inky’s boss!

’Serge Fontaine’ contains eight tracks (beware the last one is hidden, but well worth waiting for!) and was recorded over seven days at Blue Moon Studios, Oxfordshire and mastered at Lighthouse Studios, London. All recording, mixing and mastering was paid for using money gained from playing gigs, the sale of previous demo CD’s, and some of Joe’s pocket money which he still hasn’t had back!

To date ‘Odd Ones Out’ have played over 60 gigs at various venues around Oxfordshire, including the Jericho Tavern in Oxford and Emma's Trust Festival in Chipping Norton. They have also played at the Mill in Banbury. Their overall aim is to keep gigging and recording, play larger venues and events and in the fullness of time build up a bigger following.

They currently have about 10 new songs written for their second album which is due out towards the end of 2008.
