Hello, it's been a while - we've all been insanely busy what with exams, full time work and making new material for the band!
Three new songs have been put together within the last month or so, and so we have six potential tracks for the upcoming demo this July. Have a listen to the 4-track demo versions before they're recorded properly in the studio.
This summer is going to be supremely busy for the band - festivals, pubs, parties and studio dates are all in the book - and we just can't wait to get this new CD recorded!
Bring on BodFest! Odd Ones Out are definitely playing Bodicote festival this year as you may have seen in the shows section. This is always a great gig - do come on down if your free - it’s an massive annual event that includes a pig roast, barn dance and more over the weekend! We're supported this year by local band Generation Gap. They have played at many previous events including the Big Broughton Bash on the same bill as The Cufflinks - a cracking 60's band still rocking on!
If ya haven’t seen us for a while (since last year?) then come see the recent addition, talented young drummer Joe Nicklin. He drums for us and the WRants and has played venues such as BBC Studio - Oxford, Cornbury festival and with the WRants he's opening this years Fairport Convention on the main stage!
