Yo all!

Well it's all happening at the moment! Three new songs have come together since we've been back, for the latest tune we're looking at including a harmonica break and a bit of accordion would you believe it (thanks to Bo Ritchley for the inspiration!).

Playing in Oxford the other week was awesome. We debuted the new songs and it was a great venue, good fun all round - some superb pics were taken by Gareth Jones and will be available online as soon as I get on broadband to upload them onto Purevolume and this site. If you missed the gig don't worry, there is another in the pipeline for later this year, nothing as yet confirmed but watch this space for more info! For those local to Bodicote we are looking to play the Baker's hopefully on the 15th April, again we'll try confirm that as soon as possible.

In other news I've turned DIY and decided to build my own guitar amp! A little strange perhaps but to anyone who knows me this is perfectly normal behaviour. I'm planning on building a 5 watt, all-valve practice amp using a kit I bought from www.ampmaker.com. With help from my Dad im hoping to get this baby up and running in about a months time, loads of hand wired fun. The plan is to make an open backed speaker cabinet also, using a 12" Celestion G12H speaker from their Heritage range. It's just a much cheaper option than buying one of the few low powered valve amps available on the market!

Ness' blog entry next week is gonna be online on Sunday the 9th of April instead of the Wednesday. This is because im going on a trip to the Big Apple! Hard rock cafe here I come!!
