Just recently I bought this truck for $26,500, fully paid for I was lucky enough to get several rebates and negotiate the price down from 34k. It is a Ford F-150 Fx4 SuperCrew, and its color is True Blue as you can see from the pictures. It is a nice truck and very fun to drive and go off-roading with, thus sometime I hope I can find the time to take it across the country, perhaps next summer, or during a break next year. There were plans to drive to Las Vegas with some friends this summer, but they fell through, and I enrolled in summer school.

I have yet to dent or scratch it which, seems odd for a new vehicle, usually something happens while your getting used to driving it. So far the most exciting thing that I have done with it was driving on the dirt roads outside of Goultry near where we burned down an old barn on some of my parent's farmland. Basically everything in it is stock and part of the standard Fx4 package, I also have no plans to outfit it with those oversized tires that obviously attempt to overcompensate for something else.

Sure spending lots of money on gas to fill up its tank is a downside, but at least after its had its fill it doesn't try to cuddle. If you see this truck driving around Stillwater it could vary well be me, maybe I'll let you fill up its Thirsty Tank.

Close Call #1: I was driving along Hall of Fame and this guy in a black SUV decided to change lanes without looking in his mirrors, I hit the breaks just in time and managed to avoid smashing into the back half of his vehicle. Nothing really serious, at least since someone was paying attention, but it could have been.

Close Call #2: Almost hit a truck (very similar to mine) while merging onto I-35 on my way back from Norman. Didn't really come that close but was enough to startle me some. Anyway I guess driving with a hangover and an upset stomach isn't the best thing to do, live and learn.
