Product Distinctiveness:
- Wood is plantation-grown hybrid poplar (classified as a hardwood) which is considered to be great firewood because it burns easily and leaves little ash or creosote. This wood produces BTU's similar to Pine (app. 14 to 18 million BTU's).
- These trees have been carefully groomed over the last 10 years with purpose of using the wood in residential trim/molding applications. Unfortunately, a micro-burst damaged many of our trees last summer. After letting the wood season, we are now converting the downed trees into firewood.
