JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

            

·        Identify, develop and plan research projects and the facilities and resources needed to undertake the research

 

·        Set the research targets and establish the implementation plan and activities

 

·        Prepare and justify the budget requirements to undertake the research

 

·        Plan and manage the supplies and input required for the research

 

·        Implement the research, collecting the data and information, analysing them and documenting the work done and the results of the findings.

 

·        Report and publish the research findings.

 

·        Promote, extend and transfer the generated technologies to the relevant target groups or clienteles.

 

·        Contribute to and assist the Management to plan, develop and monitor research at divisional level 

 

·        Assist in the training and career development of junior staffs through giving on-the-job training, lectures, seminars and short courses.

 

·        Check, edit and referee papers and articles submitted for MARDI publications as and when requested

 

·        Other duties as appointed or directed by the MARDI Management
