Health Guarantee

Seller(s) believes this puppy to be in good health, and certifies that the Miniature Dachshund described herein has been immunized and wormed accordingly. Buyer(s) is advised to have this Miniature Dachshund examined by a competent veterinarian (preferably with experience in the Miniature Dachshund breed) within 24 hours from the time that delivery of this dog is taken. If the veterinarian does not find the dog to be in good health as outlined in this guarantee and states so IN WRITING, Buyer(s) must notify the Seller immediately. Seller reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by our veterinarian at our cost. If the diagnosis is confirmed by our veterinarian, Seller will resume possession, if Buyer(s) so chooses, and give Buyer(s) a full refund or credit toward another dog.

Seller guarantees this dog to be free of life-threatening genetic conditions. If any such condition is found and proven in writing from a licensed veterinarian and substantiated by lab tests and/or x-rays, and confirmed by Seller's veterinarian, puppy may be returned to Seller for refund of purchase price or credit toward another puppy. Minor, breed related, treatable or correctable conditions, or any condition that may go away or is considered to be a condition which a puppy will likely outgrow, are not covered. Buyer(s) is responsible for vet bills incurred prior to return, and transporation costs to return. This guarantee is in effect until puppy reaches SIX MONTHS OF AGE.

Although a concerted effort is made by Seller to breed sound healthy puppies, Buyer(s) should understand that due to the nature of the breed, Miniature Dachshunds are predisposed to certain medical anomalies, and that a normal Miniature Dachshund may have one or more of these conditions during its lifetime. The Buyer(s) is urged to research the breed and be familiar with all the health issues that could affect their Miniature Dachshund before entering into this or any agreement to purchase a Miniature Dachshund.

Buyer(s) agrees to provide good care and a loving environment for this dog, Buyer(s) should also be aware that Miniature Dachshunds can overheat or suffer from extreme cold weather conditions, and may die as a result of over exposure. Therefore, Miniature Dachshunds must primarily be housed indoors.

The dog is warranted only for the purpose of being a pet and companion (unless otherwise noted). Spaying or neutering is strongly recommended and no warranty is given to the Buyer(s) for any special purpose or function of this dog. It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to above-described puppy except as set forth in writing in this agreement.
