General Information

Out Central is a place located in Birmingham City Centre where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender between the ages of 14 and 25 can meet. At the group, you can speak with our fully trained youth workers to get any advice you need or just have a chat. It is also a great opportunity to meet people like yourself and make new friends! What is the group about?

The group is a meeting place and hang out for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people. The group is really friendly and we have people of all ages (between 14 and 25) and a diverse ethnicity.

It's a great opportunity to meet people like yourself and make new friends.

If you have any issues, problems, or something bothering you can speak with our fully trained youth workers to get any advice you need. We have 2 quiet rooms so that you get complete privacy.

Frequently there is the chance to get involved in various projects: maybe drama, music, writing or participating in the Birmingham lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride march.

When do you meet?

OutCentral meets every Wednesday evening between 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Friday 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Saturday afternoon between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. Check the Evenings page for more infomation

Where are you based?

We are in Birmingham City Centre, and can be easily reached from train or bus stations. The actual location is fairly secure and secluded.

What do you have to do to become a member?

Nothing, just contact us to arrange a time and place to meet one of our friendly youth worker.
