3. New Maintenance Fees

As of January Overlook’s maintenance fees are going up to $200.00 per month. The Board is looking forward to improving a lot of things here in our community!

  1. The Board has recently become aware that some people are carrying flood insurance on the outside of the building and some aren’t. In order to be prepared if there is ever a flood, the Board has decided to carry flood insurance for all units exteriors. Once this policy has gone into effect you will be notified and you may drop your flood insurance on your exterior.
  2. The Board chose to go with a very reputable landscaper that has started here at Overlook this week. The new landscaper is top notch and should have our community looking much better soon!
  3. The Board has budgeted for new sod in dead areas and back yards!
  4. CMC’s fees and Seabrooke’s fees increased for 2000.

These are just some of the items our dollars are going toward.

4. Landscaping

If you have an issue regarding landscaping please contact Steve Budd @ 532-9133 or Ron Wilson 507-8476. They have volunteered to be on the landscaping committee and will work closely with our customer service manager from our new landscaping company.

If you would like to hire our new landscaper for your private landscaping you may contact Tim Nicholson at 845-6382.

5. Trash

As you should know our trash pickups occur on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. There should never be trash put out prior to Tuesday or Friday evenings for collection. This includes shrubbery and clippings. Also the trash should always be in a proper receptable and left on the concrete…NOT THE GRASS!

6. Pool & Cabana

Please remember to turn off fans and restroom lights and lock restroom doors when you leave the pool area. Also, leave the pool in a neat and orderly fashion.

7. Water Conservation

One item that increased substantially in 1999 was our water bill. Although you don’t pay the bill directly, please keep in mind that you are paying it via your monthly maintenance fees.
