The Chiltern range was first seen in the second Utility catalogue, published in June 1947, but was in fact the original wartime range with some additions introduced in 1946.
This table was one of two types, the other being a non-folding square table, with slide-out leaves.
(Model Nos. 650 in "Oak" finish and 651 in "Mahogany" finish)
Note: This example IS the Oak model, but has been stained with modern varnish at some point.
