One day up in heaven
God decided to count his angels
And He was shocked when He found
That He was missing one
 
She must have gone down to Earth
God knew she'd be fine
She was a holy being and
Her sould was so divine
 
She found a man, she loved him so
But how could it be?
Heaven lost an angel
And she found me
 
God didn't cry, He didn't fear
But from heaven He watched
His angels wandered in the clouds
Because God has left his flock
 
It doesn't matter where I go
He's always watching me
He came to me the other night
And he said lovingly
 
That he wants me to take care
He wants me to always love
His angel, and there'll always be
A seat for me above
 
So now I have an angel
She loves me heart and soul
Heaven lost an angel
And she found me.
