Okay, take a deep breath. You're going to be okay. Everything will be all right. It's okay. Take another deep breath.
Visualize a favorite location or situation. Or recall a pleasant memory.
Don't blame yourself. Fear is normal. Everybody has fear. The trick is to keep going despite fear. So it really is okay.
You are not alone. You may be alone but you are not the only one who experiences panic. Or fear. Or dissatisfaction. It is a consequence of the human condition.
So, relax. Fill your mind with pleasant thoughts. It can be simple things. It can be trivial things. Occupy your mind. Put your mind to something. Involve yourself in something other than thinking about yourself.
Perhaps you have read enough. You've had enough of trite advice. But there are no platitudes here. Just reality.
Reality is what you make it. It sucks if you think it sucks. If you think it doesn't suck, it can still suck. That's called "denial."
Maybe you know it sucks but you tell yourself it's not so bad. That's "positive thinking." Maybe it sucks and you wallow in it sucking. That's "pessimism."
Maybe it sucks but in your mind it sucks even worse. That may be a sign of clinical depression.
At any rate, do what you must to feel it doesn't suck so bad.
