Shell:
Chubby and humped- Pyriform. Rich brown with small patches and dorsal line of cream, base is deep brown and orange.
Animal:
Mantle- brilliant orange-brown with short, black, conical papillae.
Region:
Northwest Australia, Mangrove Point.
Habitat:
Thick, yellow sponges, deep-water.
Notes:
Fresh specimens often found on beach, live specimens trawled 2 miles out.
