Shell: Shining grey-brown, with two dark spots at each end. Base is white and teeth short.
Animal: Mantle was deep chocolate brown, very thin, with no visible papillae. Siphon was red-brown and fringed, the tentacles where thick, tapering rapidly, and blunt.
Region: Italy
Habitat: Under rocks 30 to 45 feet deep in rough, clear water.
