That Special Evening
As we walk together,
Arm in arm as one,
Thinking of only you,
We watched the setting sun.
The ocean, filled with mystery,
Cooled off it's heated bliss,
Almost hearing the sizzle,
We paused to share a kiss.
Our lips gently met,
Our tongues intimatly entwined,
Thoughts of love and passion,
Began to fill my mind.
The sun slipped into the sea,
Disappearing from sight,
We laid down in the sand,
Under the star-filled night.
We held each other closely,
Embracing on the beach,
Watching the stars appear soclose,
But knowing they're far from reach.
We shared some intimate feelings,
As the ships silently sailed by,
Into your eyes, I longly gazed,
As the moon lifted into the sky.
I took you by your hand,
And guided you to your feet,
I thanked God once again,
That He thought we should meet.
As we strolled into the moonlight,
Holding each other so near,
I told you that you're special,
And that, I loved you my dear.
