Dear Sister
Lost in a world and feeling alone,
Wish I could give you a shoulder to cry on!
The tears in your eyes just breaks my heart,
It's hard to see you so lonely when we are so far apart!

Lost in a world of heartache and pain,
Seeing lots of faces but never knowing any names!
A burden to carry, such a heavy load,
Not knowing which way you should go down this lonely road!

The choices we make are never easy,
Some may lead to a dead end where the wind is so breezy,
Should you jump in that wind and just fly away,
Or make a stand and decide to stay!

You are never alone with me in your heart,
Not even the miles can keep our love apart!
Hold on to your dreams dear sister, put on a smile and share a grin,
You never know when you will meet a friend!

Imagination
My imagination soars
Reached out into the Future
Beyond this millennium
Beyond this world
I am transported, taken
Just by the power of my mind
To a place that only I can see
A land within my head
A Narnia within my grasp
A land of make believe, of pretend
Of childern playing, adults laughing
A garden of infinite beauties
Stretching out across the expanse of my Imagination
Atlantis returned; an oasis in the middle of a desert
A lawn with the greenest grass
Sanity in itself
Stories stretch as far as the eye can see
A Visual picture of perfection
Volumes of fiction unleashed in my mind
A Dream beyond the Power of Reality
Creativity laid freely at my feet
Picturesque lands, free in their liberty
Natural love bestowed on my creation
Reserved only for me and those I create
How hard it must be for those who do not realize
The joy I feel whenever I enter
The Worlds I create - each Real, each Unique
Stories reflecting my life, my emotion, my love
New characters - new friends
Or Myself in Later Years
In university, in a job
Dreams I could never hope to fullfill
Continuing stories began by those like me
Entranced by what is not, delighted by my own Reality
Living new lives, Exploring heights...
...the heights of my Imagi-nation.

When I Am An Old Lady
When I'm an old lady, I'll live with my kids,
And make their life happy and filled, with such fun.
I want to pay back all the joy they've provided,
Returning each deed. Oh, they'll be so excited.
When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.

I'll write on the walls with red, white, and blue;
And bounce on the furniture wearing my shoes.
I'll drink from the carton and then leave it out,
I'll stuff all the toilets up and oh, they'll shout.
When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.

When they're on the phone and just out of reach,
I'll get into things like sugar and bleach.
Oh, they'll snap their fingers and then shake their head,
And when that is done, I'll hide under the bed.
When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.

When they cook dinner and call me to meals,
I will not eat my green beans or salad congealed.
I'll gag on my okra, spill milk on the table,
And when they get angry, run fast as I'm able.
When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.

I'll sit close to the TV, through the channels I'll click.
I'll cross both my eyes to see if they stick.
I'll take off my socks and throw one away,
And play in mud until the end of the day.
When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.

And later in bed, I'll lay back and sigh,
And thank God in prayer and then close my eyes.
And my kids will look down and with a smile slowly creeping,
And say with a groan, "she's so sweet when she's sleeping"...
When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.

Wings Of An Eagle
IF I HAD WINGS OF AN EAGLE

If I had wings of an eagle, I would be there by your side,
I'd fly over the ocean on loves thermals I would ride.
My eyes would scan the horizon for that first hint of land
And I'd journey till my darling, may hand was in your hand.
If I had wings like an eagle, I'd never be apart
My body would be next to that which is in my heart
I'd sore amidst the heavens, and race the sky of blue,
I would be in a heart beat, there standing next to you.
If I had wings like an eagle,I would know just where I'd be
I would cover any distance, over land or sea
I would be just where my heart is, and the one I long to hold
I'd fly unitl I'd reach you, and my arms round you'd enfold.
If I had wings like an eagle, I'd fight with might and main
To get to you my darling and never leave again.
I'd be there in an instant, a heart beat at the best
And lay down by your side dear, our love forever blessed
But I am not aneagle, just a man whose heart you own
A person who just loves you, our family and our home.
I man who offers nothing, except love in every way,
Who'll be beside you darling...forever and that day.
