The PC (found in the corner of every Pokémon Center and of some
other places as well) is mainly used by trainers to store items
(by accessing their own home PC) and pokémon (on Bill
& Lanette's
Pokémon PC Storage System) see the pokémon they've registered in
the Pokémon Hall of fame by beating the Elite Four in Indigo Plateau
and Evergrande
City previously, and to get their pokédex
rated by Professor Oak.
Occasionally, some trainers (like Ash
Ketchum, for instance) use the computer to see
information on the next trainer he will be battling in a
tournament to prepare for the next match.
