| We went to the Silver dollor raceway in renolds the other weekend for the BOP day they were having. At these things I am used to being the only one there with a first gen bird so you can imagine my suprise when I see Billy Baxters 68 convertable sitting beside mine when I came back from the concession stand!!! What a pretty car it is and that is not saying nearly enough about it!! When I got to talking to Billy about the car he said he has been working on it for about 5 and a half years and does it really show!! it is running a 428 with tri power under the hood and is a quick as it is nice. He got it down to 13.75 by the end of the day before you think anything remember this is a convertable, which is heaver than a coupe , on street tires and no nitrious. The pic under this print is where we were out playing on the track. on motor he will take me , so I had to spray him lol. Billy it was really great meeting you , stay in touch and keep that bird flying there are not many of us in the south so take good care of her Daniel |
