| Final Fantasy IX based on... |
| I was recently playing FFIX and I noticed how some of the characters and places are similar to The Wizard of Oz. If you think about the main characters are similar to that of Wizard of Oz. Vivi is similar to the Scare Crow, Stiener is similar to Tin Man, Zidane is similar to the Lion and Eiko is similar to Dorthy. The four of them have what they're looking for but their attitude and appearece resemble Wizard of Oz. There is also regent Cid who would be like the Wizard, Queen Brahne who is like the Wicked Witch, and Beatrix is kind of like the Good Witch of the North. Kuja could also be a flying monkey :P Also Lumblum is like Emerald City. I just thought it was neat how the two were so similar. |
