Why is it that things always seem to change?  Im speaking in terms of personal attitudes.  According to last months entry my life seemed a wreck.  But now, I feel great.  I try to figure out the reasons behind attitude changes and I come up with many ideas.  First I look at school.  It definitely has a profound effect on my attitudes.  School, or more directly my classes, really have helped boost my self esteem.  It is a positive environmental factor.  My work seems directly affected by my attitudes formulated by other environments.  My home life seems to greatly affect my attitudes and end up being negative more than anything else.  And my social life, well what little I have, tends to be positively oriented.

These of course are only the environmental factors.  There are also some physiological factors to look at.  I have theorized that something in the vitamins I take causes a negative attitude reaction.  It is true that every time I start taking them regularly my attitude starts shifting negatively.  When I stop, It seems to return to balance.  Or perhaps the effect of the moons gravitational pull does have an effect on the human machine.  Of course better exercise has a positive effect
*, and the foods I consume can have a certain effect also.

Still yet are the issues of my own inner thoughts.  Perhaps I do not know exactly how to handle a positive attitude and my subconscious is merely testing the water.  Maybe my inner self has become so comfortable with the negative influence that removing it would disrupt my being.  Whatever the cause or causes, I shall continue to study and find out new influences and how they affect me.  I feel that I should actively try to remove as much of the negative influences as possible and build on the positive.  I think its about time I took control of my life and try to make the most of it.  The time has come to grow up.

*Informative fact: exercise releases endorphins.  These are natural chemicals which respond to pain and act like morphine.  They help reduce pain and elevate mood.  In other words, they make you feel better emotionally while lessening physical pain. (Neuro-transmitters)
