yes the above should look familiar. see radiohead.com for the real experience. this is only just a happy advertisement for them. you may be scarred by the fact that the band doesn't sound like it used to, but i truly hope not. though i don't really like amnesiac as an album, i must say that listening to the Pyramid Song all alone really gets me happy. kid A's still a little bit more album-like; it's got form, as far as i remember, but i've not listened to it for a few months now so there's plenty room to disagree. but the enduring thing about radiohead is that even though they may be wildly experimental and thus less captivating to listen to in some important ways, they still know how to make you feel. their most banal songs (catch Everything in its Right Place for a timely example) sound so poignant; it's as if they pluck your tears and play them. i wonder if you're getting a little dizzy? despite that, here are piecemeal highlights of the website, which i saw when i visited again. we should read this (click on the square pleeeaaase, or whatever the shape that is in the middle) if for nothing else to marvel at the band's putting it up on their site, but hopefully because you'll find Chomsky an enthusiastic read and important to boot (if i could just change that phrasing; i do not mean that we should give anyone the boot, syntax will come to me later when i'm offline). I just like the stuff here. i wonder if it's very hard writing any of the stuff there but i don't think it's important that it's not hard to write. at which point i just have to say i hope people do not try to be pretentious as radiohead can be, see they're the stars, they're supposed to be a little whiny and self absorbed, we love them for it. Also visit bearhunt, it's delicious. though this page is called radiohead for now, i don't think it will be forever. but i do like this page so i'm going to delay the inevitable. here are two internal links, one about my alter egos and another leading to a happy page of weirdness and fun, at least in my eyes.
