Yang Guo carries Xiao Long Nuu (Dragon Girl) to the Hall of Coffins. Once there, he places her inside one of the open wooden boxes and then surprises her by getting inside too. When Long asks him what he is doing, he replies matter-of-factly, "I am staying with Gugu. We'll be together in life and death."

Meanwhile, in another part of the tomb,
Li Mo Chou (Serpent Deity) and her pupil, Hong Ling Bo, are looking for them. Li had no doubt that Long was telling the truth when she said that she released Abandon Dragon but she still believes that there must be another way out.

     Inside the Hall of Coffins,
Yang Guo notices a set of instructions written on the underside of the coffin lid. The inscriptions were written by All True Sect (Quan Zhen) founder, Wong Chong Yang and it says: Maiden's Sutra is greater than All True Sect but no man is greater than Wong Chong Yang. Curious, Xiao Long Nuu inspects the scripts closer and reads it aloud for Yang Guo.

     After the Ancient Tomb Sect
(Gumu Bai) founder, Lin Chao Yin died, Wong paid his respects to her. It seems the two great masters had been in love with one another but could not get over their rivalry and so they struggled all their lives.

     When
Wong found out about Maiden's Sutra, he is overcome with admiration for Lin because she had come up with it on her own. He then resolved to find a way to counter the skill and spent three years meditating in a secluded place. But even so, he could not find anything until he acquired a secret martial arts book from where he found the inspiration for the skill to combat Maiden's Sutra, which he wrote on the wall of the chamber directly below the Hall of Coffins.

Yang Guo finds a hidden panel that would open up the trap door. He and Xiao Long Nuu descend through the secret passage and enter a stone room with the words, Scripture of Jiu Yin, written on the walls.
