With her attackers gone, the girl turns to where the bull is grazing calmly on a patch of grass. She sees Yang Guo casually lying on the ground nearby.

"Hey, you! How much do you want for the bull?" She asked him, meaning to buy it for she had lost her donkey during the fight.

Yang Guo tells her that he merely borrowed the bull from the villagers and he was not planning to sell it. At this, the girl loses her temper and draws her sword but Yang Guo just laughs and goes on his way.

Later that night, the two meet again at an abandoned hut. They have dinner together and seemed to be getting on well. Then, as the night wore on,
Li Mo Chou (Red Sash Lady) and Hong Ling Bo arrive. They were looking for the girl who was actually Lu Wu Shuang, a member of the powerful Lu family.

Li had kidnapped Wu Shuang as a child and trained her to become her pupil. When she and Hong left to find Xiao Long Nuu and the Maiden's Sutra, Wu Shuang had taken the opportunity to escape. And also, Li had murdered Wu Shuang's parents and desiring revenge, she took Li's most prized possession with her, the Book of Five Poisons. Now, Li and Hong are after her.

     The women do not see
Yang Guo who is hiding behind the bushes. Li is trying to persuade Wu Shuang to return the book but when she refuses, the Red Sash Lady becomes angry. She and Hong attacks Wu Shuang whose kung fu is inferior compared to theirs.

     As
Li becomes even more intent on killing Wu Shuang, Yang Guo decides to intervene. Using the same trick at Jackal Valley, he hangs from under the bull's belly and let the bull run at full speed towards the women. He quickly grabs Wu Shuang and lets go of the bull, gently rolling towards the thick roadside bushes.
